Chexsystems is a conglomeration of financial institutions, such as banks and credit unions, who have joined forces to prevent millions of people from being able to open accounts. This is typically due to the consumer having mishandled an account in the past. However, many people have been unfairly reported and therefore their inability to open an account is unjustified, and they are likely to encounter all too many financial problems for no good reason.
