A number of IT geeks and nerds have become millionaires with the help of the internet. We have a pretty general description of these people now.

They’re usually the ones who publish e-books or device software that claim to make us as filthy rich as they are. But after knowing the ins and outs of the online world, we know better and dismiss every offer that comes our way as scams.

The usually questions that come popping in our brains when we encounter websites with that content is how do we really know for sure if they have unique, valuable information to offer?

When I was new to all this, I was an unwitting victim of a scam but I still purchased the Rich Jerk nevertheless.

I have no idea what made me want to buy a copy of the Rich Jerk.

Or the fact that the writer of the e-book chose to be anonymous, but I read all the 41 pages.

I can understand the mix reactions about the book. Some people swear by it, some go to the lengths of condemning it.

On my end, I think it all has something to do with how we process information and our perspective with regards to different things.

But the Rich Jerk actually has some pretty valuable information like how the long list of trusted sources that the author has compiled in page 31 of the e-book.

I rationalize that these were products of his own experiences. This just validated his claim that he’s good at what he does since he can’t come up with such reliable list.

Another topic that I felt the Rich Jerk was able to substantially tackle was the issue of scammers and how to ward them off. The e-book tells its readers that there are effective ways for you to know if you’re corresponding with a scammer.

The e-book teaches its readers things like how to determine where a correspondent is really located since scammers tend to lie about where they are actually situated.
